Population grows, cities expand … the first casualty – trees! Citizens have been forced to take up cudgels against the authorities for the mass-scale tree felling in almost every state of our country. Very old trees, some heritage trees, trees that form green zones, forests, lungs of the city, are being chopped without any concern for the environment, the ecosystem, the biodiversity, the large-scale damage this is causing.
